Jewelry Design

The accessory design has always been a category I wanted to explore. After obtaining knowledge in forming, texturing, and joining (soldering/riveting) of basic metal construction, I was able to create two rings made of sterling silver inspired by deconstructive architectures as well as geometric shapes, featuring a coarse texture roll-printed with sandpaper and several piercings. Besides, I also designed a brass pendant that symbolizes my personal story by integrating the landmark of my hometown Nanchang City on the base layer with the etched campanile rivet on top that represents Iowa State University where I proudly completed my academic career.
